8 JUNE 2008 GHI GHI/IGHC golf classic tenth annual On the right course This year’s IGHC marked ten years of golf for Ground Handling International. Was there a palpable air of expectancy hovering over the 2008 GHI/IGHC Golf Classic? Quite possibly. What was more certain was the highly enthusiastic turnout this year, which included some stalwarts who had been playing a decade ago in this competition. As for the other players, the Golf Academy staff provided plenty of hints and tips for those who were aspiring ultimately to take on 18 holes. Maybe next year we’ll see some Academy graduates? Watch this space… As usual, the generosity of the event’s sponsors meant that there were plenty of prizes to be had, which included clubs for those who shone on the day. We look forward to seeing you all again at next year’s event.
